US announces final AD ruling on corrosion-resistant steel products from Taiwan, South Korea
According to the final result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that Taiwan and South Korea’s producers/exporters of certain corrosion-resistant steel products sold their products subject to this review at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
Meanwhile, the USDOC determined that Taiwan’s Synn Co., Ltd. (Synn) and South Korea’s Hyundai Steel Company (Hyundai) made no sales of subject goods at prices below normal value during the period of review.
Therefore, the weighted-average dumping margin assigned to the above-mentioned two companies was zero. The duty rate for Taiwan’s exporters/producers was 2.88% to 3.64%, and that for South Korea was 1.79%.
